Absolutely beautiful photography I thought I sent Dr. Gustavo White Uribe. I did not know, Do they know who was its author? Appears to be of the forties. Radiates peace, beauty and energy. I remain grateful

Uribe Gustavo Tito White was born in the municipality of Frontino, Antioquia, on January 4, 1888. He died in Medellín on 25 June 1969.

was the tenth of 12 children of British engineer John Henry White Blake * (1846-1925) and Dona Rita Uribe Uribe (1848-1938), aunt of General Rafael Uribe Uribe. He married Dona Maria Uribe Williamson (1892-1968) on July 11, 1925. His sons Bernard and Pearl.

He studied Civil Engineering and Mines in Medellin and specialization in the U.S..

In 1887 the governor Marcelino Vélez visited the town of Pavarandó ** in company with Don Juan Henrique White. Months after the town was created in the settlement of miners and operators of tagua, founded in 1850. Mutatá names ** and mutated in Katío language, means "River of Stone" or "River of Piedra Grande" Pavarandó, "River of Blue Water."

In 1943 Mr. Rafael Ramirez Ferrao donated some land in the place Mutatá ** (see map) the Fund for Agricultural Finance "(depending on the Departmental Secretariat of Agriculture) under the management of Dr. Gustavo Uribe White who organized the Master Plan, and selected sites for the Plaza, Church - October 4, 1944 (A) was laid the first stone - and distribution lines of its streets and blocks.

was the only child of John Henry White - "Don Juan Henrique White" - one of the pioneers of the great work, who was present at the inauguration of the "Road to the Sea" in 1954.

. Urabá
dearly loved, studied its soil, its people, customs and left a great legacy with his studies: "Nutibara or Nutibara" , "Katia Columbian civilization" and detailed reports to the governor, among others.

He was a member of the Academy History of Antioquia, Member of the Assembly of Antioquia and Medellin Mayor in 1937.
